A Few Frequently asked questions

You are here: Home / About Us / FAQs

What is Salvation?

The Bible simply says “...believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved ...” Being saved brings us into fellowship with God through Jesus Christ. It offers us the
forgiveness of all sins and the gift of eternal life.

Why do we give Tithes and Offerings?

There is never a heavy emphasis on giving money at New Life. The people of God respond to God's faithfulness by consistently and cheerful giving. Our tithe and offerings support the work of the ministry and enable us to reach out to the need of people.

What does ‘come as you are’ mean?

We are not concerned with your clothes, but rather, who you are. Our relaxed and informal atmosphere is designed to make you feel welcome and comfortable, as God deals with your heart!

How do I know that I am saved?

Assurance of Salvation is based on our faith in God and the promises in His word. The promise of God in Romans 10:9 makes it clear that for those who confess (say, admit) with their mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead shall be saved.

What kind of church is New Life?

New Life Christian Fellowship is a church of Love, Faith and Commitment. Our goal is to be God-glorifying, Christ-centered, Holy Ghost endowed, Bible-based and people oriented. This ministry is designed to bring God's love and grace to the total person (spirit, mind and body).
